(ii) Dost ‘E’ Kashmir – 5 Nights/6 Days

Itinerary :

Day 01 : Arrival at Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar airport where our representative will receive you and will transfer you to the deluxe houseboat. Check in at the houseboat. Afternoon, proceed for Mughal Gardens. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 02: Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar
After breakfast, leave for Gulmarg (56 Km from Srinagar). The place is also known as Meadow of Flowers situated at an altitude of 2730 meters (8700fts) above Sea level. The place has a Golf Course consisting of 9 holes probably the only one situated at that height in the world. The place is also a skier’s paradise when it snows there during winter months. After Sightseeing return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat. One can have an optional joyride on Gondola or have a pony ride at Gulmarg.

Day 03: Srinagar
After breakfast proceed for Shankarcharya temple and evening Boat ride in Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.
                               
Day 04 : Srinagar–Pahalgam-Srinagar
After breakfast leave for Pahalgam 96 Km. from Srinagar. The place is aptly known as the dwelling place for Shepherds and is the starting point for various treks. It possesses a commanding view of mountains and cold water stream flowing through the center is full of Rainbow Trout Fish. It is the first stop for Pilgrims going to Amarnath Cave when Yatra begins between middle of July till end of August every year. After sightseeing come back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 05 : Srinagar–Sonamarg-Srinagar
After breakfast leave for full day excursion to Sonamarg (84 Km. 2Hrs & 30 Minutes). It commands fantastic view that gives a southing  to ones eyes and is  literally known as Golden Valley carved among the snow covered mountains with  river Sindh passing through. From here one can have a pony ride up to Thajwas Glacier about 4 Kms from Sonmarg to see one of the largest glaciers of Kashmir. The place also serves as base camp for  major treks that pass along several mountain lakes, Vishansar, Krishanar, Gadsar, Satsarn, and Gangaba Lake( Known as Small Gunga). Besides the place  offers adventure in the treks, sledging, angling, alpine skiing and white water rafting. Sonmarg also serves a base for the Amaranth yatra from the Baltal route. After sightseeing return to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Deluxe Houseboat.

Day 06 : Srinagar Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
